Reviews for Pure Pastry
Review highlights
Based on 619 reviewsPure Pastry in Düsseldorf is praised for its flavorful and visually appealing pastries, particularly its variety of croissants featuring unique fillings like pistachio and pecan. Customers appreciate the freshness and originality of the offerings, including desserts like cheesecakes and specialty treats. The cafe provides both takeaway options and limited outdoor seating, which can become crowded due to its market stall setup. While the price point is considered reasonable for the quality, some reviewers note inconsistencies in filling quantity for certain items. Overall, the brand stands out for its delicious pastries, friendly service, and a diverse menu that appeals to pastry enthusiasts seeking both classic and inventive choices.
Super pretty and flavorful croissant! We ordered pistachio and strawberry ones, colored as green and red respectively.
Pecan croissant was super delicious! Would recommend this! Also got the Düsseldorf kringel and NY Cheesecake Spekulatius, these was very pretty, and quite nice. The Cheesecake was slightly on the sweeter side
Tasty croissant, but the one with chocolate didn’t have much filling. The classic one was really good — I loved the sweet and salty combination! She was super nice as well.
Very delicious croissant and especially the one with pistachio filling They the option for takeaway and tables to set and to have a drink with your order
Very original and big selection of pastry, desserts and drinks for decent price(7€ for cappuccino and croissant) , everything was very delicious and fresh. The only downside is that it's a stand on the market and not the actual Cafe, so sits are outside and very limited and it can get very crowded sometimes.
The pastries were really tasty and fresh. We had the pistachio and raspberry croissants they were a bit too sweet for my taste but still okay. We also had the pain au chocolat, which was absolutely heavenly I definitely recommend it! The coffee was just average. It was also a bit hard to find, especially if you’re not a local. Based on older photos, it used to be on the street side, but now it’s inside the market
Dropped in here whilst on business on the recommendation of a local to the city. I was definitely impressed by their croissants. Some great flavours and was a hit with the office when I got in..
